Wow, what a tremendous response to the "First Sunday Food Drive!”  Thank you very much for all your support in Hope's mission to alleviating hunger in the community.  You are a wonderful, caring group of people. 

Volunteer Opportunities: 

1) Hope could really use a volunteer (s) to help weight the "First Sunday Food Drive" items.  This is only a once a month commitment and will not take that much time. 

2) Hope needs some help preparing for clients on Thursday morning from 8:30/9a.m. to about 10:30/11a.m.  This can be once a month, every other Thursday, etc.  Whatever works with your schedule.  Please email Stephanie Humphreys at info@HopeFoodPantryAustin.org if you are interested in volunteering.

Could you help North Central Caregivers avoid putting homebound seniors on a waiting list for free transportation?  You can make a tremendous difference in someone's life by volunteering only once or twice a month to drive an older person to a needed appointment.  For more information call Jane Wise or Jerry Perkins of Trinity or the Caregivers' Office at 302-5980.
